We have a brand new delivery from the hand dyer String Theory!
String Theory Colorworks started in 2009 with dyer Caitlin and her husband. Since Caitlin has a biology background and her husband is an electrical engineer, the science theme for the yarn company was a great fit! You will find her color names to all be on theme.
Continuum is a hand-dyed fingering weight Merino/Cashmere/nylon blend with stripe patterns described right on the ball band! Each skein is $27.50 for 430 yards.
Traffic Island Socks
The funky chevron pattern in this sock pattern will really show off the stripes of String Theory yarn! Get the pattern here.
This free and simple pattern is a go to for quick slouchy hat needs. With a nice bold stripe from String Theory, it will change the look from the pooling seen in the photo above to a solid exact stripe pattern. Download the Sockhead here.
Momentum is a 100% Superwash Merino self-striping sport weight with a super soft feel and amazing stitch definition ($24.50). Make thicker and faster socks with this heavier weight (I am a sport weight addict) or jump into accessory projects. For pattern inspiration, check out:
The stripe in String Theory yarn would eliminate the need to change colors! Grab the pattern from Kirsten here.
